Can I order a sign with a theme that is not offered?
Yes! If you have a custom theme idea that is not yet featured in my shop, I can create it especially for you.
Please send your request by email to the following address: contact@madeleine.art
You can then explain your project to me and specify the elements you would like to see on the sign (animals, characters, objects, decor, colors, etc.). You will also have the opportunity to choose the rope and beads that will enhance your sign.
If you have any inspirational images or personal references, you can also send them to me - it's not mandatory, but it will help me to fully understand your request.
I will send you a quote corresponding to your project before manufacturing begins.
A sketch will be provided for your approval of the final design!
Could I get a preview of my decoration before my order is shipped?
Yes! I invite you to actively participate in creating your decorations. We can communicate via Instagram or email – whichever works best for you. If this option interests you, please indicate it in the text box labeled "Special Order Instructions" ( in your shopping cart), specifying your preferred communication channel.
The principle:
I will send you photos at certain key stages of the creation process so that you can approve every detail: the sketch, the final drawing, any beads, the chosen embellishments, etc. The goal is for you to be 100% happy with the final result! You can then modify certain elements of your decoration, within reason and what is technically feasible.
What is the manufacturing time for my wooden decoration?
The production time depends primarily on the number of orders already in progress. As I personally create all the custom decorations, the lead time can sometimes be longer. However, this will always be specified before you place your order.
I regularly update the shipping timeframe: you can check it on the website's homepage .
Are there discounts at certain times of the year?
Yes! Certain times of the year may offer occasional discounts.

Is it possible to modify my order after I have confirmed it?
If you notice an error or wish to make a change to your order, please contact me promptly via the Contact section or by email at contact@madeleine.art. I will do my best to modify it, depending on the production stage. Once the creation has begun or been shipped, changes will unfortunately no longer be possible.
Possible modifications:
- Regarding the wooden decorations: Change of the pyrography name
- Regarding the illustrations: Color change
Unfortunately, it's not possible for me to replace one product with another, even if they are the same price. I can only modify one or more options of a product I've already ordered.
For example, if you have confirmed the purchase of the "Vintage Cosmos" illustration but ultimately want "Flowery Bubble," it will not be possible to modify the order. The same principle applies to wooden decorations.
On the other hand, if you stay with the same product (the "Vintage Cosmos" illustration, for example) and you simply want to change an option - like the color - this is possible as long as the price remains the same.
➡️ If you would like to completely change your product, please cancel your order (if this is still possible) and place a new order with the desired item(s). The canceled order will be automatically refunded in full (provided that production has not yet begun).
How is my order packaged to prevent it from being damaged during transport?
Chaque illustration est emballée dans du papier mousseline (sans acide), puis protégée par une plaque cartonnée qui permet de rigidifier le tout. Le contenu est placé dans une enveloppe cartonnée afin d'éviter tout risque de pliure pendant le transport.
Toutes les décorations en bois sont emballées dans un carton rigide. J'y mets des frisures en carton qui maintiennent la pancarte en place tout en amortissant les éventuels chocs pendant les transport. Selon la fragilité de la décoration, il est possible que je rajoute du papier bulle (de récupération) ou des calages en carton, afin d'assurer une protection optimale.
Certaines petites décorations en bois (notamment les marques-pages) peuvent être emballées dans des enveloppes cartonnées.
What are the delivery times?
I ship finished products (in stock) within 1 business day, after order confirmation.
For custom-made or personalized products, shipping times vary. You can find this timeframe on the website's homepage . It is provided for informational purposes only and may vary slightly (shipping a few days earlier or later).
Several delivery options are available:
- Collection point (Mondial Relay): Delivery within 3 to 5 business days
- Standard Delivery (Colissimo): Delivery within 2 to 4 business days
Please note: Once your order has been shipped, delivery times depend solely on the chosen carrier. If a package arrives late, is damaged, or is lost, I obviously cannot be held responsible, as this is beyond my control. However, I remain available to assist you with the carrier to find a solution as quickly as possible. 😊

Where can I have my order delivered?
🌍 I offer delivery:
- in Metropolitan France,
- in the overseas territories,
- throughout Europe,
- and internationally
🚚 In France, several delivery methods are available:
- Delivery to a collection point (Mondial Relay)
- Standard home delivery (Colissimo)
In Europe and internationally, delivery is only available to the home address.
Can I cancel my order and get a refund?
For non-personalized products :
→ You can cancel your order as long as it has not been shipped, and get a full refund.
For personalized products ordered directly from the store :
→ You can cancel your order and get a full refund as long as manufacturing has not started.
For custom-made products that have been quoted :
→ You can cancel your order, but a flat fee of €10 will be retained. This fee covers the design time already spent (email exchanges, research, sketch creation, etc.). The remaining amount will be refunded.
However, once the order has been shipped, cancellation will no longer be possible.
⚠️ If you cancel a custom order after production has already begun, a 50% partial refund may be applied to cover materials already used and labor time invested. However, I will do my best to refund your shipping costs!
Can I return my order and request a refund?
Once shipped, personalized products are neither returnable nor exchangeable, in accordance with the law on the right of withdrawal (Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code). However, if the item has a major defect or is damaged upon receipt, please do not hesitate to contact me within 48 hours of delivery of your package at the following address: contact@madeleine.art. We will find a solution together!
For non-personalized items, a return may be considered within 14 days, provided the item is in perfect condition and returned in its original packaging (including protective materials). For all return requests, please contact me at the following address: contact@madeleine.art
Return shipping costs are your responsibility.
